Tonight found Frank and I sitting in Grant's preschool for parent orientation. We left feeling so excited for the year ahead of our little Bud and maybe a little, just a little, sad realizing our first baby is already old enough to attend school!
We were given a wealth of information including his class size of 21, comprised of 14 boys and 7 girls, the teachers said they are contemplating 2 recesses instead of just 1 this year, haha! Thankfully, the teacher's excitement is contagious and Frank and I, without a doubt, know our little guy will be in the best of hands and where God wants him to be for his first year of school.
Our hope, as parents, for our boys mirrors this school and its goals which is to guide each child in his/her development as God's image-bearer, while encouraging love for God and others. The program provides experiences which develop the child's creativity, social abilities and academic readiness.
Grantman, we couldn't be more proud of the little boy you have already become and trust that God has great plans for you this year! We love you and want you to know we are cheering for you all the way!
