Grant attended Taekwondo camp this week, a 30 minute, Mon-Thurs class but "camp" none-the-less for a four year old! Surprisingly, he really, really enjoyed himself and having his friend, Juliet, along didn't hurt!
This was the first class he has attended where the parents are not in the room, he didn't know what to think about that at first but as soon as they got to run across the room screaming at the top of their lungs, I knew he would be just fine!
On the last day of class they could choose to break a board, of course Grant wanted to give it a try!
They started with the foot and ended up letting him give it a shot with his fist...
success!! He was thrilled!
On our drive home Grant asked if we could keep his wood and not burn it in the fireplace! Hahaha! He wanted to be sure and ask his Daddy too, it was his special wood and he didn't want us to use it in the wood burning stove.
WAY TO GO BUD! We are so proud of you for trying something new!
