Washable

The package said washable so Grant thought we'd give it a good first test! Happy to report it came out of his clothes and off his skin without too much effort.

Bowling

We had fun bowling last weekend with our friends the Shumates. Rossi and Grant had a great time with all of the noise, lights, arcade games and pizza to name just a few of their favorite distractions!

A-B-B-Y

Last night I put our little bud to bed (while Daddy watched a little football with "the guys") and before he finally gave it up and fell asleep he kept saying, "Abby, Abby, Abby." It was adorable and of course melted my heart so I recorded the monitor...corny, I know, but I couldn't resist and wanted Frank to hear it too. I should also mention that we played with a friend of Grant's this week and her name is Abby which is how I found out he can even say the name!

Golfer Grant

Grant loves his new golf clubs and continues to work on teeing it up ;)

Christmas

After flights and a much longer drive than originally anticipated we made it safely to Iowa to spend Christmas with my family. We had a fantastic trip and Grant traveled like a champ despite our many delays, reschedules and rerouted flights both going and returning home.
The reason we travel so far each year...
Little hands just couldn't resist a few of the ornamentsPlaying in Grandma's cupboards

Uncle Mark made countless loops through the house with Grant in his sled

Grant's first trip to the barber shop...there was even a penny gumball machine

Pre-haircut: Look at those adorable curls...and a little lollipop bribary!

Not so sure about this....a few tears were shed but fruit snacks saved the day!
On Christmas day digging into his stocking
Grant playing while laying on the couch...he was pooped and we hadn't even started in on the presents yet!

December

Back to December....before Christmas arrived we managed a quick trip to Frank's family to celebrate his Dad's birthday in combination with mine.
Make a wish!

Grant loves the cards that play music!

I just didn't have the patience to keep Grant away from the tree this year so we only decorated above his reach!
