I am proud to say that I love heat and, yes, even a little humidity, a true Midwest girl I suppose. I detest the Spring we have had this year, if you can even call it Spring. The rainfall for the month of June has never been as high in recorded history for our state, lovely!! Rain or shine Grant wakes up each morning and demands to go, "outshide," and we typically do regardless of the precipitation for the day, I love that little boy! We did have a nice dose of warm temps and humidity with Grandpa and Grandma O last week and oh boy did we play and get spoiled!

A few highlights, in no particular order, included golf cart, tractor and mower rides, a trip to the local John Deere implement for a few toys and souvenirs, lots of catching-up with family and friends, swimming, sidewalk chalk, puddle jumping, walks to multiple parks, swinging, tricycle riding, playing golf in the front yard, card playing, the list goes on and on and on and on!

I know Grant misses his Grandpa and Grandma O but he also misses the golf cart a lot!! ;)
