Happy Mother's Day

This year Mother's Day was that much more special for me as I had my own Mom here with us. It was bittersweet though as just days before my dear friend Jamie suddenly lost her own mother. It is during these times we truly learn to appreciate what we have been blessed with and to not take anything for granted. My heart truly hurts for Jamie and her family and made me try to enjoy and appreciate this special day with my own family all the more.

We were able to squeeze in a play date at the park with some friends in the late afternoon so Grant was in his glory!
