robot & dinosaur

We had a grand time trick or treating this evening!  Our little robot and dinosaur couldn't have been happier...well, let's just say the robot was ecstatic nearly the entire night!

This costume was about the easiest thing to put together and props to my Mom for contributing the vent/duct piping.  The amount of comments and sheer fun Grant had in it makes me want to do it for each of the boys again next year.  Grant loved it and wore it most of the afternoon and evening.  Before going to bed tonight he told me to please hang it in the closet so he could wear it again, ha!

The beginning of the night, heading to our neighbors for dinner followed by some candy hunting in the neighborhood!

Our little dinosaur!  The thighs on this costume were the best!  He left the hood/tail on for about 5 minutes before ripping it off!

Grant with his buddy Jack and Jack's cousins.  Grant was always the last one to the door, singing songs and telling anyone and everyone (or sometimes no one) that he was a robot...."I'm a robot!"  "I'm Mr. Robot Man! "  After every house he'd say, "Mom, I want to get more candy!"  Over and over and over again.

Parker's only house to trick-or-treat at before hanging out in the background with the adults.  Thanks Bear for the box of Nerds for Mommy :)
You know it's been a great night when you get home and start taking your costume off and there's even some candy stuck in the hood of your outfit, hahaha!

Here they are, Grant trying to fend off Parker from his loot!

Happy Halloween everyone!

Oh Abby, this takes me back to the days you and I would trick-or-treat together! And I am particularly fond of the year that your mom made you the most wonderful minnie mouse costume, and you even had minnie's big white gloves! :) Ah, the memories!

Your little guys looked adorable! And very impressive job on the robot!!!
