I often feel as though I've fallen into a trap when it comes to praying. I feel convicted that I pray the same prayers, the same words, over and over again. I, like many of you, want to pray powerful and effective prayers, particularly for my children. I want them to grow-up knowing that their Mom prayed for them daily and with purpose. I strongly believe in prayer, the strength of it to me is awesome.
I have come to realize, in these few short years of being a parent, that I cannot and will not be ever-present and available for them as their Creator is. Praying is one of the most powerful things I can do for our boys and with that I would like to be accountable to praying through the 31 Biblical Virtues to pray for your kids, yet again. I hope you'll join me!
1. Salvation. "Lord, let salvation spring up within my children, that they may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory" (Is. 45:8, 2 Tim. 2:10).
