Summer Fun!

Well, I am relenting and finally typing a few updates along with posting photos, I suppose I've put it off long enough! Our summer is now in full swing, we recently made a day trip to Eugene for the Track & Field Olympic Trials where we cheered on a couple of Frank's University of Washington teammates and a friend/co-worker of mine from Nike. It was a lot of fun and Grant was a champ despite the hot weather!

This week we have returned from a wonderful vacation with Frank's parents and niece & nephew to Lake Chelan in Washington. Grant enjoyed our long walks and the fresh air though he didn't get to play in the water with the rest of us, I trust he will in the years to come!

Today he had his 2 month appointment where he weighed in at a heavy 11 lbs 2 oz and measured 23 3/4 inches long. He survived his vaccination shots and is happily asleep as I type!

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of his Iowa Grandparents the end of next week and then shortly thereafter his first airplane flight to Iowa to meet the rest of his family!

Until the Spirit moves me to type some more....
